The Brazil French Press coffeemaker, first designed in the early 80's, quickly became a symbol of what Bodum stands for and was our first coffeemaker. It offers an attractive and functional design at an affordable price. The Brazil is equipped with a durable, heat-resistant borosilicate glass beaker, a plastic handle and base, making it easy to use and clean.

The 3-part stainless steel plunger has a fine mesh filter that allows for a premium extraction of your coffee's aromatic oils and subtle flavors. By using a mesh filter, the flavor is delivered directly to your cup without being absorbed by a paper filter, reducing waste. The patented safety lid prevents liquids from splashing while pressing, and all parts of the coffeemaker are dishwasher-safe.

To use the Brazil French Press, pour hot water into the carafe (about 92-96ºC), leaving a minimum of 2.5cm/1inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon. The vinyl-coated handle provides a stronger and more comfortable grip, while the iconic French press coffee maker brings out the full flavor and aroma of your brew. The carafe is made of non-stain, heat-resistant borosilicate glass that won’t alter or impair the coffee’s natural flavor, and the body, handle, and domed lid are made from lightweight, BPA-free plastic.

The stainless steel plunger and filter prevent ground beans from escaping when the coffee is poured, and the Brazil French Press is more environmentally friendly compared to many other coffee-brewing methods as it does not require paper filters or plastic capsules. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and is also dishwasher safe.
